One of our (missions) is to help retailers realise the value that they traditionally allow to literally evaporate from their fitting rooms. Often staffed with the worst member of staff so the manager doesn’t have to see them, fitting rooms are the most important commercial spaces in stores with over half of customers making their buying decisions there. “Fortress Fitting Room” as we like to call it is a condition that affects many retailers, treating genuine customers like criminals but with processes that are so ineffective that genuine thieves have a field day. The lost opportunity in terms of both lost sales and stock is enormous with the potential to increase sales alone amounting to £1.5bn* per year. To combat this and enable retailers to gain more from their fitting rooms we have developed an innovative process, tool and training program to increase fitting room conversion and simultaneously reduce shrinkage.
